well, we are hoping it will never come down to that since we are only promoting their product. But should it be a problem in the future then we have backup domains to continue on with the idea.

From a business perspective, IMHO you should never spend the time and money to promote a domain that you can't brand or trademark.

I kinda agree and kinda disagree with you on that.

In some instances, when done in the name of trade a service mark from another trademarked name can be used however, in this instance, the fact it is connected to 'porn' may well get Skypes panties in a bunch.

It is good that an alternate domain is available should it come down to that though
