A wayBIG introduction

Hi guys,

I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself and my site to the boards.

1st a little about myself: Some of you may remember me as I've popped in from time to time and responded to a few posts. I'm 28, I live in Atlanta and have worked in the adult industry for about 4 years wearing various hats(unfortunately not like Boy George).

Now my site: 2 weeks ago, I did a not-too-soft launch of the link site and directory waybig.com. I'm extremely proud of this site and am excited over it's potential! Being that waybig is still in it's infancy, you might be inclined to call it waysmall...that's why I need your help! Waybig is fully functional and ready to receive links to your sites. I need links, links and more links! Much like a child, it takes a community to raise a site, and help it to grow.

With a name like waybig.com, there's endless room for expansion into new areas; the sky is the limit...it's WAYBIG baby! :-)

Greetings:

I agree with Chili, it looks very nice.

One issue you might want to be aware of though, and I'm not sure if it's just specific to my architecture or what:

The top logo table loads up nice and fast, but there is a very noticeable delay in the bottom content table loading, and all subsequent content tables on your links pages as well.

It makes the site a little frustrating to surf.

Can anyone else reproduce this? If it's not just me, it's something he probably should be aware of so he take care of the issue before he starts throwing users at it....

Other than that, you're off to a great start!

Lovely site -- and I also had the top header load very quickly while the bottom took awhile to come in ... not sure if that's an indication it's taking awhile to find your php external includes or what.

Yeah, we're still streamlining the site. The delay is only happening in that manky browser IE, and even then, it's only about 2 seconds or less for an uncached page.
