Things to do in Pheonix?

We are debating on flying out there early. Looks like the Grand Canyon is out. A bit too far of a drive for for that week and it is Spring Break. Plus I wanted to take a mule trip, but they said those are booked a year in advanced!

So I tried to find some things in Pheonix but not having much luck. We thought about driving, hitting a couple of casinos in Palm Springs on the way?

So what are some fun things to do in Phoenix before y'all get there :angel: or on the way? This would help to know if we should book the flight now or just drive.

I was wondering the same thing. I'll be there the whole time, so I figured I might wanna get away for a bit durring one of the days. And other than the odd Grad student, was wondering what there was to do there.

assuming i go, im thinking of taking a few pals out to my favorite wine bar/restaurant one nite... the only 'things' to do in phoenix that i suggest is hiking up camelback one morning. the view is great. lots of hot sweaty college jocks getting their exercise too.

Well one thing I haven't been able to do in Phoenix but would love to is go see Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin. (pronounced: tal-ee-ess-in)

neat neat neat and definitely unique to Phoenix.

I'm being told that the weekend of April 1 is also Gay Pride in Phoenix.

i lived in phoenix for 8 years!

here's what i do whenever i go back to Phoenix for a visit:

1. visit my mom (not applicable to most of you)
2. go to Dick's Cabaret (the gay nude strip club)
3. go to Amsterdam Bar for a martini
4. cruise hot ASU boys on Mill Ave. in Tempe
5. go country line dancing and 2 steppin' at Charlie's, the gay country western bar
6. leave as soon as possible
