    If You Use Board Tracker / Board Scanner... Do You Use Your Handle As An Alert?

    Just wondered how many people we have on GWW that do this?

    I know i used to do that but decided against it after a few weeks as i got nothing of any relevance sent in my alerts LOL

    So who here has their board handles setup as an alert on those types of service?

    I think, not tracking your own nickname (assuming its unique and people know you by it), is like not caring when someone is saying your name in public
    requires being VERY "cool" (or just plain apathy ) to not care when someone is talking about you

    I actually do use my board name as a board tracker alert. (spelled 2 ways.)
    You'll get more with a kind word and a 2 by 4 then you'll get with just a kind word.

    i do use "basschick" as one of the words i track, and three times it sent me to threads were people really were trying to find me.
