Buying a website...

Can anybody with experience in buying websites tell me what should I do... or the steps to follow when I buy a web site from someone else... actually from someone out of state.

Make sure you get some kind of written agreement, that favors YOU and not the seller

Also, transfer the funds via escrow or, in two halves so that you arent paying all of the money upfront, that isnt just for the purchase of a site btw, always try to get partial payment made BEFORE completing any sale, it protects you and thats what you need to make sure happens, especially in this industry.

before you pay him, make sure his is a fair webmaster with some business to risk..
