    CC Processors

What is the complete cost to get set up for processing through CCbill or Epoch?

    Just curious.

Hello, to accept Mastercard, Discover, JCB, Online checks, and Telephone transactions it is free, absolutely no cost to you. In order to accept Visa there is a one time $750 registration fee.

Don't forget about ACH (online check) processing!
There are NO setup fee's involved with getting setup at Web Transaction Services.

Let me know if I can help you get started.

    Kind Regards,

I guess I can chime in here - there are also acquirers as well overseas that will provide you with merchant account. And most of them you do not have to worry about the registration fees

Thanks Paul and Ben. So MC doesn't require the $750 fee?

Corey, I am US based. Wouldn't I need a domestic (US) solution?

Does CCbill have any surcharges to get set up? What about reserves and cost-per-transaction?

Paul, isnt there also a $350 annual fee that needs to be paid every year in addition to the $750?

    Regards,

    Lee

No - you can use other acquirers as well. There is a set-up - usually about $500 for the application fee, but that is it. no yearly costs or anything. Usually they set you up with a third party account for a few months - make sure that everything is OK, and then they can move you to your own MID is you desire.

There is no cost-per-transaction. This should help you out a bit further: http://businesscenter.ccbill.com/signup.html

CCBill is top notch! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing adult billing.

I know epoch is supposed to be fab as well, but since I am not a US entity I cannot tell you from experience. Rand, when will epoch be opening up their EU processing arm?

    cheers,
    Luke

All I can say for now is... soon. The final details are being worked out but it's like driving a Porshe from LA to Vegas at 120 mph and stopping 5 miles outside of town and walking the rest of the way.

Believe me, we are all just as anxious as you are.
