    I Wonder? ccbill's sales problems since March1

My colleagues and I, who run several gay sites, have since March 1 had a dramatic drop in signups with sponsors who use CCBill. The statistics have never been so bad for many years and never ever for all sponsors at the same time. Example of sponsors are seacody.com, corbinfisher.com, boystation.com, czechboys.com and a few more. We believe that there must be some problems related to CCBill as other sponsors who use other billing systems have normal performance.
Have you had the same problem?
If there are representatives of CCBill in this forum, I kindly ask you to comment this.

Hrm can't say I'm seeing that there. My own CCBill-processed paysites are up in sales about 15% this month over last.
My CCBill affiliate sponsors that I promote are collectively up 25% this month over last.

We've noticed some weirdness, but nothing we can't ascribe to normal erratic purchase patterns of porn buyers

My first suspicion is that simply the sites you are marketing are just not converting as high right now. I would not attribute it to their credit card processor.

Every time I have pinpointed an anomoly, the phenomenon is usually "off" or "on" --- zero or one. Sometimes the setup got inadvertantly switched the wrong way, and so ALL trials stopped appearing, or ALL rebills, or something similar.

Try this - do a test signup from your site to CzechBoys. (which for me as an unimpressive performer) See if it tracks. I do this on the affiliate programs that I promote, and the peace of mind is well worth it. By doing this, I have been able to ultimately corroborate any suspicions.

I'll say that CCBill has been sucking for us since Nov of 04,
with stats that are no less then 2000:0 (that's last we checked, I assume it's a hellova alot more hits now, since we got tired of checking last month)

Wish they'd turn off the scrub-o-rama for us.

back in Nov ccbill had a small problem with too many people running to them from ibill, apparantly their servers were slowed down and they were not processing as quickly as they normally did, but that was all fixed up within weeks.

    cheers,
    Luke

I have had some issues too, but I think it is just from stale banners/sites that I promote. Too bad, because I like my checks I get from CCBill. I just wish I knew of more CCBill sites.

I have noticed that Verotels webservers have been non-responsive causing alot of affiliate clicks to die. I haven't seen any problems with CCbill however.

ccbill is obviously doing something today...I have gotten all my Consumer Cancellation Notices from the last week or so mailed to me - all today. Normally these get processed and emailed to me daily, it looks like they are getting thru a backlog of some sorts.

    cheers,
    Luke
