Can you recommend AVSs

I'm looking at getting into the AVS site game, using some of my original content and some licensed and sponsor content. I've been looking at a few AVSs, including Mancheck and ****.

Can you tell me your experiences with each? Do some send more and/or better traffic? Do some convert better? Do some pay better (beyond the obvious per-joins)? How do you feel about exclusive vs. non-exclusive?

AVS are like ice cream flavors...everyone has their own but our favorite was always Mansites. Great convertions, always pay on time, great customer support and Dwayne, Craig and Hank are three of the most upstanding guys in the industry.

I don't recommend any AVS that doesn't have a monthly recurring program. U*GAS and MANcheck are my favorites because they have Platinum/Plus programs. And with your exclusive content, you will do best upselling existing AVS members to the premium monthly rebilling memberships.

If you are just looking to drive traffic to your paysite, the free AVS's (like Mansites) are good for that purpose. But you won't get the monthly rebills from them. It's almost like submitting galleries to TGP's... unless your sites/galleries get SE traffic. And be cautious, free AVS's can be pretty sensitive to "traffic leaches"... webmasters that submit sites just to get the sponsor upsells from existing AVS members.

Also, don't overlook so-called straight AVS's. A lot of webmaster do very well with C*yberage, ProAdult and others.

As Allan said, I'm usually not far from here so I'm pretty easy to get ahold of. I also spend quite a bit of time giving personal service to webmasters who want it. I've taught quite a number of people how to make their AEN sites better. At the same time, if you don't want that kind of help, I don't push it on you.

The big question I have to ask you is what are you wanting to do with AVS galleries and what are you expecting. If you are going to put up one gallery and leave it, then you might want to reconsider. AVS/AEN is a whole different ballgame and in order to stay on top, you need to be submitting stuff on a regular basis. (That means 25-50 pics every time you submit, depending on who you're using.)

Consider this: When you submit a gallery today, you're approved and placed in the "new" section of MANcheck's search engine, tomorrow another 50 sites are approved on top of you (now you're on page five) the next day, another 50. Like Google, a surfer usually doesn't go past the second page. It's most comparable to the TGP game, your gallery is hot today, warm tomorrow, and for the most part, cold the third. Some people will go digging through archives and search engines to find you. Like TGPs, if you submit one gallery to a half dozen TGPs once, you'll probably end up with pretty dissatisfying results. If you're submitting five galleries to 80 TGPs every day, you're probably doing reasonably well.

Webmasters who make good money are submitting galleries to MANcheck every day. The only other thing I can think of that would be different for you is if you were planning to put up an Andy Dill gallery and protect it with and AVS/AEN membership. This can work because you'll probably get your URL listed in all kinds of porn directories and people will search for you in Google etc. But this is a different ball of wax than a "guys who suck big cocks" kind of gallery.

MANcheck's a nice company to work with because we're not the biggest, which means everyone on the planet doesn't already have a membership. So the right site can convert pretty well. We are the oldest all-gay AVS/AEN, we've been around since 1997.

I can also help you with ideas about using MANcheck to get traffic to secondary sponsors, like your redhead site.

MANCHECK is absolutely the best.

I don't know why use AVS's that don't offer monthly rebills or don't have an upsell program...

So, I'd suggest Mancheck, cause it's more "manly" then *no*gas*

Big shout out to Dzinebear. While I could only speak from experience, which goes back a few years when we submitted avs sites, our luck with ManSites ruled. However, I have heard great things about ManCheck as well and know Dzinebear would not be associated with anything less then a top notch bunch

hey DillMedia. I'm all about AVS and i only use the big two, U*GAS and G*MP. I haven't experimented with any other AVS's but after reading this thread, who knows, i might consider something else, as i'm setting up another network of AVS sites and i was leaning towards Rainbow Pass (if i could only understand what they were saying on their site ??? hehehe)

Anyways, I use U*GAS to drive traffic to my sponsors in the members area, as every guy out there has their pass and just by submitting to them alone on a regular basis (everyday, like Dzinerbear mentioned) i get a nice consistent number of sponsor sales with the odd AVS sale here and there.

G*MP however, is a totally different story. Submitting to them on a regular basis wont do shit all. By submitting to them and getting on their link list you wont notice much increase in traffic or sales. BUT, many people still don't have their pass so i drive my own traffic to them to cash in on direct AVS sales.

BTW...anyone have any experience with Rainbow Pass? If so, how are they converting?

i don't mirror any site as they pay less if it is a mirror, and i don't think the rules allow you to mirror premium sites, which is what i make my money with.

They don't care about mirroring Platinum sites as long as there is only one login/join script per site.
