I Wonder? What Do You Think The Most Profitable Business Model Is?

For both the affiliate side of things and, the program owners side of things?

I remember a time when PPC affiliate programs were all the rage, affiliates could earn up to $0.30 for each genuine click they sent to a sponsor and, as long as you had conversions of around 1:2000 you would be paid for each and every click you sent.. Ah the good days of interweb porn

Now it seems like finding a PPC sponsor that pays more than $0.00001 per click is impossible to do.

I see a lot more programs running with both revshare and PPS these days, using the revshare accounts to subsidize the PPS accounts fundings.

So what do you folks think the mos profitabl business model for an actual sponsor program and for an affiliate webmaster are and why?

    Regards,

    Lee

If a program is paying more on the PPS then revshare overall -- they're doing something wrong.

LOL. You are so insane!!! j/k

We pay $30 per signup. Which means an affiliate's customers would only need to average a 2 month retention and they'd be making more if they chose the PPS model. We offered a pps model about 3 months after launching pridebucks. Almost two years later our revshare sales outnumber our PPS affiliates. I guess we're doing something right - because our members are staying and our affiliates checks are getting fatter!

Haha im just fuckin' with ya babe

Just out of interest, as a sponsor that provides affiliates with a choice of PPS or revshare, have you noticed whether webmasters prefer choosing one option over the other when they initially sign up to promote the Pride Bucks sites?

With PrideBucks a webmaster doesn't need to choose PPS or Revshare when they signup. You are given both revshare links and PPS in the links section. In fact many affililiates use both links to test the waters with their traffic. Also, some people prefer to send 'high volume traffic' such as tgp to the PPS and send their higher quality traffic to the revshare. We want you to make the most money you can with PrideBucks. So why choose if you don't have to.

Ah i didnt realize that, i thought it was one or the other, ive only ever used revshare links from you guys LOL

That is actually quite a good feature that more programs should implement

What you say about utilizing revshare on high quality traffic makes sense too, glad you guys let webmasters choose the links they want to use

Thanks for clearing that up for us babe
