Question about thehun..

I heard if your gallery gets listed at thehun, it will burn your BW like crazy. My first gay movie gallery is listed at thehun overflow now. I woke up in the morning (in australia) and found that I got 1500 hits from the hun and after 6 hours I got 700 hits more. That means I get only 100-150 hits an hour.

Is that normal? I expect to get much more than this.

First off... it's in the overflow and second, it's a gay gallery. Overflow gets a lot less traffic but some say it is actually more productive. Also, when you hear people talk about the massive traffic from The Hun they are talking about straight galleries. Still, by far the most traffic I've ever had from a gay gallery listing has been from The Hun.

So, how have the sales been from your listing?

well..no sales yet. with 2000 hits, it didnt even send 100 hits to sponsor.
seems cand gave me more traffic..

I've had several galleries listed on The Hun, although not in the past 2 years. Unless I'm mistaken, I think I had 30,000 to 40,000 hits on the first day. And I continued to get traffic for several months later.

none - the hun gets revenue from pre-paid gallery placements on the top 15 spaces and banners. the rest of the galleries are free placements.

i have never had a sale from the overflow, but i have certainly had sales from thehun's main site. it's true that the traffic is much less for gay - but it's still a pretty fair amount

I made 1 sale so far. I put 2 sponsors in the gallery. I got about 5000 hits now and about 200 hits to main sponsor but no sale. With the other sponsor, they sent only 11 hits but I got 1 sale... I'm quite happy with that as so far it burnt my BW only about 4G.
