Arsehole ripping entire sites using a wild card.

This was posted on another board and I'm here to warn you all.

I got onto my host and they are blocking him hotlinking our sites.

It can be done to any site and might screw with your SE listings

It looks like the site is some kind of filter. Isn't China very strict on what websites are allowed to be seen? Maybe this is their way of bypassing illegal sites without getting in trouble: http://www.1bu.com/setfilter/set.asp *shrug*

this post gets around...this is about the 5th response I have given on it. I don't think you have anything to worry about with this site, they are not ripping sites off, they are only a proxy server that is allowing surfers to check out sites anonymously.

check this out:

see how it updates in real time, there is no way a script would be able to handle updating in real time on the millions of addresses you can do this with...thus my conclusion that it is nothing more than a proxy server.
