Titan Morphing?

I have a thing for Titan movies and of course I get their email updates, so I'm always checking out their new titles. They have great flash previews clips and model/action photos from their releases. These are great sales tools because they work on me!

But I'm always a little disappointed when I watch the new movie for the first time. See, I'm a bit of a size freak and when I watch the movies I always think to myself, "Gee, his dick sure looked bigger in his model photos."

Either they ever-so-slightly morph the photos or have a VERY talented photographer that knows the perfect angles to shoot. I would post some sample pics, but I don't want this board to get shut down.

Anybody else ever notice this phenomenon with Titan or other studios?

yes and not just with titan

can't remember who's site i was browsing, but they'd list the model with say a 9 inch dick but in the movies and the sets it would look smaller than that.

So they're either morphing, or not checking and letting the model guesstimate how big his dick was, and he's probably measuring it from the balls or something

I'm really talking about the actual model photos and sample clips. If they aren't actually morphing, they are using only the most flattering shots. Really nice 8" cocks look like they are 10" and thick as a beer can. I'm not accusing them of anything because it is good marketing.

Maybe Andy could shed some light since he has been in several Titan films.

I have never noticed Titan's utilization of the camera lens to be any different from others. But then I haven't watched a Titan movie in about four years.
They never responded to any of my emails to them as an affiliate, nor any emails to the studio for publicity materials.

Xstr8guy: What do you think of Raging Stallion or Hot House? I always enjoy their movies greatly, and they actually have the interest to give you the time of day too.

Ahem...I LOVE the guys at Titan. They are wonderful and working for them in three videos was a great experience. Having said that, after my second video, an "intimate" friend pointed out that my dick looked just a little bigger on the box cover thaqn in real life. I checked it out and, knowing my endowment pretty well, had to agree.

In their defense, I would point out that porn is simply the packaging of a fantasy and it's a small jump from airbrushing out a zit to adding some "AOL inches."

I work in partnership with Raging Stallion and can tell you that, while they do all the routine stuff to make models look perfect in photos, they do not add size to the models' dicks.

Of course we could get into a long discussion about gay men's perception of dick size. I met a guy online once whose screen name was something like "smalldickguy." Clearly he was a victim of porn propaganda since, he told me his dick was "very small": 6 inches!

I'm friends with a former art director for Falcon and he would photoshop the box covers and advertisements with just the right amount of shadow. they would even put dildos in the models underwear for the photoshoots. It's all in the packaging.

Lol, I think Titan is the first sponsor I signed up with when I started but I quickly quit using them when I realized that I wasn't going to get any revshare when I sold a membership. They only pay 15% on DVD sales. I did get an email from them once, asking where my banners were. Apparently they need to know where you have placed their banners, .

I do like Hothouse and Raging Stallion. But as a porn watcher, nothing beats those Titan guys.

Titan's Brian Mills used to be my photographer. He had a name for the type of photo of a guy with a hardon that is shot from below with the face in the background. It's called "the giant dick shot". With the dick in the foreground it gives the illusion that his dick is bigger than his head. Try it!

However, I'll take Andy's word for it that the pictures are enhanced. It's easier than girls getting implants!

Well who knows. Austin gay video rental stores sell Titan DVDs next to bareback titles.... all under one roof.

Yeah, good luck with that, . They are another adult company that is totally isolated from the rest of the online adult world. The literally expect you to put A banner on YOUR site. Like any of us have only one site, . And they expect to know where you have put those banner on your one-and-only site.

i remember buying a tape a while back with a friend, that was really jazzed and flashy on the outside and when i popped it in the VCR expecting to get the same as on teh cover got very very dissapointed and if the sex shop wasn't so far away I would have taken it back and demanded a refund. Seriously
