Is There A Trick To Watch AVIs?

This has got me stumped --

Is there a trick to watching AVI's that I don't know about? I've been trying to watch this guys gallery submission and I haven't been able to.

I've even got the latest version of win media player; avi file extenstions are enabled...

I get sound on some of the video clips and no picture or video on any of them.

I've worked on this for about an hour now and am at a loss. :bomb:

Maybe its not just me? Or maybe it is just me?

Could someone check it out for me -- I'd be greatful.

Works fine for me. Do you have Divx and Xvid codecs?

Hmmm -- I'll have to look into that -- I thought I did -- as I keep my codecs updated. But ya never know -- could be it. Thx Xstr8guy.

Thanks Xstr8guy! Downloaded the Xvid codec which apparently also has the DivX codec, (all rolled into one? -- whatever) Anyway -- point is the vids work fine for me. Prob solved.
