Ynot has started CC processing. Sounds interesting. http://www.ynotpayment.com/

they have a few nice features too:
• No setup fee and no annual recurring fee.
• Accept Visa and MasterCard payments through YNOT Payment.
• Accept Euro Debit payments
• Credit card transactions processed at industry-low 10%.
• Euro debit transactions at just 8%.
But I am always worried when a company starts off and does not comply with visa re: their fee. Most others that have done this in the past end up going under within a year or so.

I am definetly going to have to agree with you there.Originally Posted by Chilihost

are they "adultwebsite friendly"?

longboard jim - i'm sure they are. if you read more inside that site, you will find they are owned by ynotnetwork, the oldest adult webmaster resource site and community i know of. they are based in southern california.
what concerns me is that their processing company says they are based in germany. processors in europe do not have to charge that $750 registration fee, and i know of two processors that moved part of their operations - including their entire admin - to europe so they would not have to charge that fee - both those processors are gone. visa shut them down.
so who knows? i can't read the future, but i can't see why yet another u.s. based company opening another european processing company should be any more successful in remaining visa-compliant then the others...
Of course, It's from YnotOriginally Posted by longboardjim

i guess i'll have to take a closer look! , my concern of course is with "visa" processing!
sincerely ~ jim
Its never a good idea to jump onboard with any large processors new or old. There always that largest VISA target. Honestly my guess is YnotPayment and CCBill will be gone within the next 12-24 months.
That being said any smart webmaster has a nice mixture of billers from a BIG guy all the way down to an unheard of and they balance there load. Most of us have learned from the IBILL situation. Strangly enough I still see websites using CCbill and only CCBill. I guess not everyone learns.
Well I would agree with the worry about VISA... anyone remember Adult Check and their ACPay? Adult Check was pretty well known too... they claimed similiar banking so while it sounds good, I'd remember the old adage... burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice shame on me... so I'd certainly want to see a whole lot more details... but heck, colour me paranoid I guess.
just my personal opinion & not meant to cast any aspertions on Ynot or anything.

not just acpay, but pswbilling (who were super nice guys), and another one that i can't remember the name of that i actually used to use - plus the tritech guys had a processing company.

C'mon, it's from Ynot! Aren't they one of the most respected resources in this business? I find it hard to believe that they would put their reputation on the line if they didn't think this would work.
Do you secretly own this company and we don't know about it ? hehehe :francais:Originally Posted by Xstr8guy

In all seriousness xstr8guy yes I would... I know ACPay was taking VISA registration fees right up till the plug was pulled and they knew it was coming, for months before they kept dodging it too.. as did many other processors that are now gone TU... the lure of big bucks is tempting to many, even the big boys... I mean look at Enron for proof of how they scammed folks, they had all the money they needed, yet they still opted for the scam.. so for me, and again I am not saying this is the case here with Ynot, just that I am very skeptical of a USA based operation saying NO VISA FEES... on the flip side i do hope they can pull it off, as it would be a big boost to many small sites and would help the industry, but its a big IF.. least in my mind.. again, simply my personal opinion.
