I am looking for a new content management script for my site: www.thewhack.com


I am going to need a search function, a way to archive all automatic daily updates, link tracking, a completely new design and much more.

I prefer C++, possibly PHP. It needs to be fast and admin control panel friendly.

Please oh please oh PLEASE do not get this done in C++. They'd have to compile it as an apache module, or as a compiled cgi. It is soooooooo easy to miss checks when programming in the raw like that. You WILL get hacked. Trust me, you will. For real, I'm mean it. Definately not kidding.

Get it done in PHP. It has built in checks and balances, and will act as a protective shell so to speak between your site and the server.

Plus, it's a heck of a lot easier to have modified in the future should you need it.

Did I mention that you'll get hacked if you get it done in C++?
