Have your ccbill sales been off significantly this week?

Had a long talk with my "sales rep" at ccbill today.
I told him that I am experiencing my worst week in oh..the last 5 years or so in terms of signups, and he relayed to me that ccbill overall was having one of their worst weeks in a long time too.

Said he had no idea why..but at least I'm apparently not alone in the lack of sales. Truth be told..April period has been a bit of a lemon.

What say the rest of yee who use CCBill?

We've noticed the same thing here too. Although, I'm sure this post will be followed by 50 from people saying they've had their best week ever. However, most people that I've talked to, that actually have volume to speak of and can notice trends, are saying that this week is HORRIBLE as well.

It's interesting to note that the CCBill Sales Rep's telling you they're noticing it across the board as well. Wonder what's up?

We've had a couple of abysmally bad days, but it also looked like we could have had page loading problems... our ISP had some unusually heavy traffic... but it's at least reassuring that we aren't the only ones (and that our ISP problems prolly aren't the cause...)

This is usually one of my better weeks. I haven't noticed anything untoward.

It is warming up in the northern hemisphere, so maybe people are just getting outside more.

We have a new pope, maybe more people are going to church.

One school of thought is that the economy is actually in much worse shape that it appears (anyone notice the craziness in the stock market lately?) and that people are "nervous" about their spending habits. But I would think that ya ALWAYS need porn to get you through those rough times! grin

AND..the "tax day fallout" effect is also favored by many.

I've noticed that signups are about the same the past two weeks, but I've been getting a lot of canceled rebills.

Although I've never researched it, I've always had the impression that my sales DO follow stock market trends. Go figure.

Yes i always have a slow down at tax time although I have to say this is the wirst its ever been. Ive had the worst month in 2 years. All my sites are a bit down however ccbill sites are WAY down this week.

ccbill has been really strange recently, I mentioned the other day that I got all my Consumer Cancellation emails from about a week in one day, like they were pushing thru a backlog. And its been a roller coaster ride thru April too, going for days with really poor sales then all the sudden getting a record number of sales for a few days. The last week has been absolutely shit too.

I thought it was due to USA tax day plus the pope thing, but what happened last week to all the sudden turn everyone away from buying memberships?
