Another Members Area Question

How do you set up the server structure for your members areas?

What i mean is if you have a /members/ directory, inside there what do you put where?

For example, images, css calls etc?

Is it best to keep all the image files and css files outside of the members protected areas and have them called using absolute paths or have them inside the protected members areas and have them called using relative paths?

Your thoughts on this?

Right now i have it set so that on the server it looks like this..

/members/
/members/images/
/members/css/

Are they any advantages / disadvantages to having them setup like this?
