I had the day off and went to see a movie. We walked out of "Hitchhiker's Guide ..." because it was slow and dumb.

Yeha it is definetly slow. Someone else posted on gfy and about 98% of the people who posted said it was also slow. Maybe college finals?

2005 has been a roller coaster ride in that..I'd be down a couple of days and then suddenly, there would be a sharp upturn.

Then over the last 2 months..weekdays showed dramatic downturns, but the weekends always bounced back big. HOWEVER, over the last 2 weeks, it has been consistently down including the weekends.

And for me it's very ironic in that I've added several new traffic sources from gay.sex.com to spotbrokers..and even WITH the additional traffic, it's just plain SUCKING right now! Downright scary!

Anyone have any ideas on what truly may be going on other than there is a LOT of competition for the $ right now?

I totally agree with this, it seems some days are brilliant and others are absolutely crapola. I am starting to wonder if this is a ccbill thing myself, cuz the number of form hits are consistent across all days but the number of successful signups varies dramatically.

Slade, are you seeing the same thing, ie, form hits being consistent?

I've seen a big increase in declines. I called my "rep" at ccbill about this and he said he was going to look into it. Never heard anything back from him.

I don't know if it's ccbill, or industry wide. But, I'm more than just a tad concerned in that there have been some very long threads on gfy also about the drop off that seem to come pretty rapidly in April..a bit early for summer as places like Minnesota & Colorado are still getting snow!
