TGP'ers... How Much Should A 50k A Day TGP Make?

Ill admit i know absoluely nothing about trading traffic with TGPs yet its something i want to try out.

If the skim is set to 60% how much (realistically) should a 50k a day TGP make its owner?

    Regards,

    Lee

i'd keep that skim to 40% - or 50% if you have first click going to a gallery.

how niched is this tgp to be? i know guys who own general tgps who make maybe $200 - $500 a month with them. some guys make more - depends a lot on what you do with it, and what kind of sponsors you use.

a tgp in a tighter popular niche can do a lot better, but the smaller the niche, the less traffic and the less available trades.

40, 50, 60% skim rates? Fuck, if I was a porn surfer that ended up in this type of circle jerk crap, I would go to the video store and rent a porn movie. Now I do believe free porn surfers deserve everything that you can throw at them, but how much is too much?

What is it with traffic traders? It is something I don't understand at all. A surfer comes from someone elses TGP/CJ and immediately you push them to another TGP/CJ. I mean, what is the point of that, so you can say my TGP gets 100,000 uniques a day? And you end up making $500 a month on something that is so fragile and fleeting. A bad trade or a trade partner with viruses/dialers/spyware will cause your dedicated surfers to flee for forever.

I really have to agree here with Xtra, I mean is it really that high? I mean I can see 10% or even 20% but 40 to 60? Maybe I am taking the word 'skim' wrong so perhaps Lee you could elaporate a bit more on this for me? (hey I am having a blonde day.. ) but some clarification just in case we are having different difinitions of the word.

I don't think you are confused gaystoryman. I'm pretty sure it means that 40-60% of the surfers clicks are redirected as a traffic trade to another tgp/cj site.

$500 a month? Why bother? Unless the thing is completely automated and you never have to do anything ever, seems like a lot of hassle for so little money.

you can make more with it if you post your own galleries... but once again, niche makes a huge difference on this. so does who you trade with. all traffic is NOT equal

Well as i say i know very little about trading traffic on TGPs and i agree that figure did seem a little high to me when i read it too

Im basically looking at the services offered at http://www.mgpbuilders.com and it seems that 60% is the skim they apply to TGPs / MGPs they build.

    Regards,

    Lee

http://www.damagex.com/ is who i would go with, because he has a lot more experience, but i know a few people who went with mgpbuilders and the sites were grown as promised.
