What's an autosubmitter and how do I get one? I know some places don't allow for auto so I'll have to do that by hand but how will I know if I need to do it by hand?
I have 20 tgp galleries and don't know what to do with them. About 6 months ago a friend had his friend submit them but now they are not friends anymore. Any suggestions?
The reason I know some don't allow autosubmissions is because I read a post on another site where they talked about it. Just to clarify why I'm asking this question...I know only that snip of info and there are a whole lot of blanks.
an autosubmitter usually mirrors your gallery - it makes the many pages with recips - and submits it to tgps. when used well with tgps that allow autosubmitters, it can be a great and helpful tool when used poorly, it can get you blacklisted everywhere.
www.advancedsubmitter.com has a free version that works - although some of the features don't work on the free version.
you can use advancedsubmitter and chameleonsubmitter and i believe dreamsubmitter as a semi-auto submitter, which is safer. you can check every submission and push the submit button, but the program decides which description to use, which thumb, etc, and fills out everything for you.

Yup, that. Never done either myself. But like I said my friends friend did it for me once. But I did not know what it meant. I figured it was a special type of computer that's sole purpose was to do submissions. (Yes Patti, I really am THAT ignorant.)Originally Posted by basschick

To my DaddyBear, as a matter of fact I've hired a guy to come show me the ropes. Well actually I hired him a week ago under the agreement that it's on his schedule as he is also working on call for a computer repair guy. Needless to say, I still have not had my first lesson. But I'm penciled in for Sunday.
monday or wednesday would work for me - afternoon. do either of those work for you?

Ooooh, you're fortunate to get Basschick's help. I too consider her to be the "QUEEN" of TGP gallery submissions, having benefited from her many TGP comments over the months at GWW.
I agree that one needs to really learn TGP submission before using a submission program. The better (read higher traffic) the TGP, the stricter the rules are. Its crucial to read and follow each TGP's rules to maintain a good relationship and not get blacklisted.
I just started doing TGP submissions again, and got the paid version of Advanced Submitter (which is wonderful!) last month. I checked out the free version of it, but it has the HORRIBLE drawback of adding an advertising "recip" link of AdvancedSubmitter's choosing to each gallery page.
They both work for me. So let's shoot for Monday. :extat:
