Is Xianmen a word in China?

Only reason i ask is we registered Xianmen.com a few days ago and its getting a steady flow of type in traffic.

Im seeing a few different results in Google for that but it seems the place is China is being referenced as either Xiamen or Xianmen, im presuming one of them is the Chinese spelling and one is the English spelling, is this right?

Actually we looked it up through different map sites and trade commission sites. So it's a valid spelling. It's just not the only one we think.

I've seen Xianman referenced to many dating sites as it's a huge city... so affiliate linking to them could be profitable.
