what about tv shows and movies? it isn't explicit, but i've seen some very disturbing stuff in the sex/murder and sex/violence area. and that doesn't even touch murder mysteries. the j.d. robb books alone must have at least 10 sexual murders, with details.

Absolutely....
I agree.
I always gave that little speech to the people that would come into my store pounding on the counter about my "awful porn" while their kids were renting Friday the 13th or Halloween.
They didn't seem to have problems with that twisted sexual assault stuff, but a natural and vigorous sex act send them into a tizzy.
