I have I have!!
Actually been several times...I go every October, and sometimes to the show in April. I also go to MAGIC in February and August...MAGIC is the largest clothing tradeshow in the world. Fun stuff.
What would you like to know?

I am assuming that the agency that organizes the International Lingerie Show October and April shows - is the SAME agency... and the whomever organzes
the MAGIC event - does so for both the Feb. and Aug. show... correct ??
who are they ??
how can I get in touch with them ??
are there any associated websites, webrings, vendor rosters etc...
that you know about ??
other than yourself or your company... can you recall a few names of
other vendors (not the biggies) the median to small vendors - that
have attended either event in the past 12 months ??
and your list of SHOW TIPS... what to take... what to plan for ??
what to avoid or watch out for - etc... ??
what media organizations cover the event ??
is there a show video anywhere of past events ??
or a photo journal or website ??

Wow, lots of questions.
International Lingerie Show is put on by Specialty Tradeshows, and yes they do both shows. It is lingerie, underwear, adult toys, some t-shirts etc. Here is their website where they have a list of people who are exhibiting and you can find their contact info there:Originally Posted by Bell

Same thing with MAGIC, same company puts it on every year. MAGIC is actually TONS of different shows all at once, and they take over most of Vegas. According to the visitor people there, MAGIC is one of the three biggest conventions in Vegas every year. Unlike the Internation Lingerie Show, MAGIC is ALL fashion. Almost any brand that wholesales, both big and small, will be here. (But not as many of the lingerie companies.)
Their website is here:

Both companies will ask you to be able to prove that you either have a business or are starting one the first time you attend. Lingerie show is a little more lax, and just wants the info when you get there, MAGIC will ask you for the info up front.
Both shows are free for buyers, and Lingerie Show provides lunch everyday.
Funny, I just had this conversation with one of the new girls at the office who is going with me next week to MAGIC.Originally Posted by Bell
I always take a carry on with my laptop, some books, excederin, and all the documents we need to get in the show along with a dayplanner so I remember when I am supposed to meet with any vendors that set up appointments.
I take one suitcase with clothes. What to wear is tricky, it's long days so I tend to go casual, but more towards dressy casual since it is the fashion industry. But I always wear confortable tennis shoes...there is soooo much walking.
And then I bring one empty suitcase to bring back catalogs and such.
As for what not to miss, at International Lingerie, don't miss the fashion show. It's a big deal and really done up right. At MAGIC, there is really so much going on, it's hard to say what to not miss.
International Lingerie is usually very low key, there is some, but not much. It might be because of the more adult like nature of the products, or all the pretty much nude models walking around. Not sure. At MAGIC I have seen just about every news outlet you could imagine, and many, many, many stars. MAGIC is a BIG big deal, and lots of famous people go to see what's going to be hot.Originally Posted by Bell
Not that I have found, although you might if you dig around, I haven't really looked hard...I have to go, so I don't really need to see it.Originally Posted by Bell
