Lykos is a good guy... I have chatted with him many times. But he does have one handicap. He's straight.

I agree with the others here... really good fetish sites are very hard to find and in demand. But as a straight man, it will take a lot of research to develop convincing fetish sites. Smoking, wrestling, foreskin, gloryhole, tattoo, rubber, leather, etc. are all good fetishes to explore. But as basschick ponted out so well, you have to learn the niche in detail and know what the surfer wants to see. Otherwise, don't bother.

and then a lot of people consider otters bears, so webmasters won't know what an otter is. that makes it hard to market your program to webmasters.

probably easiest to make a "hairy men" site at that point. anyone can see if a guy has plenty of highly visible body hair - even if they don't know a bear from an otter

You have to spend time talking to the people that enjoy the niche. Get to know what it is that makes them tick.

It's all about how much time and money you are willing to spend.

I think I agree with most all of the above, and especially STAY WITH WHAT YOU KNOW. I personally have joined lots of spanking sites only to cancel becasue they didn't offer what I wanted (I am really into spanking).
