Knowing the dead guy is separate from knowing what he did to others.
Sitting there on your high horse and judging the dead guy as being such a wonderful person because he was your "very close friend" for so many years and "did things for you" is just ignorant.
And you sit there on your high horse judging other people who don't share your views as being "ignorant" "ashamed" and "passing judgement" when in fact you have the nerve to ridicule and pass judgement on people you don't even know, simply because they don't share your views, a little bit ironic, don't you think? A little too ironic, yeah I really do think. :bunny:
My God guys...a human being was MURDERED! That person was also a member of our community - the adult porn industry. What kind of person he was doesn't matter - he was one of us and was MURDERED. We should at least allow him to rest in peace.
Squirt,
Iit is also likely that he had a meeting scheuled with the attacker(s), and the police are thinking at least two people.....one talked to him as they face each other and perhaps the other attacker went to the bathroom or kitchen or whatever, and snuck up on him and cut his throat. The news report indicated that the autopsy showed that he was nearly decapitated. He would have died almost immediately and if the knife cut the spinal cord he would have been paralyzed immediately, thus eliminating any defense wounds. This was obviously done by somebody(s) that knew him and most likely hated him. Or, at least one of the attackers hated him enough to kill him in a most personal and brutal way.
I'm guessing, like most everyone is, we probably know who was behind this...but, let's not jump to conclusions and wait and see how this plays out.

Seems that two men....Sean Lockheart and Grant, supposedly Sean's current lover, have new about the slaying but don't want to talk with the police legal represntation. Can't blame that for that, especially if they have something to hide and have admitted to being there that night.
This is all according to their attorney in California so say the latest news article.

Strange this influx of support for this guy via three new members to GWW, two of which have existed for a day, or two, only, the other less then a month.. all with less then 20 posts. I don't see how you see him as a member of OUR community. He obviously is a member of your community, wherever you come from.
People who we've supported as a community have been found, and convicted, to be pedos and criminals in the past and have been banned from our community.
He's dead! The only people not resting in peace are his victims and their families. His victims and their families will live the rest of their life with the memory of what he's done to them.
Your perspective of who deserves our compassion is grossy askew.
I don't think we do know who was behind this, and if you're saying "let's not jump to conclusions", then how about not making snarky comments implying just that.
The attorney for Brent and Grant was reported in the news media as saying that, as far as he knew, his clients were in San Diego the night of the murder. That would make it very difficult for them to simultaneously be 2,000 miles away. My understanding from the news articles is that the information they have relates to having spoken to Bryan on the phone and Bryan mentioning that someone was coming over for a photo shoot. That's a far cry from being in Dallas, PA at the time of the murder.
Look at the situation. The lawsuit was ugly, a lot of nasty things were said by both sides. So obviously Grant and Brent (Sean) would be on the suspect list. ANYONE with an ounce of sense would want competent counsel before saying anything to the police in a situation like this, whether or not they were innocent. You don't have to watch too many episodes of "Law and Order" to figure that out.
Additionally, the lawsuit had been settled. It would have made a lot more sense to take Bryan out before the suit was settled than to do so after, when the settlement (which apparently had a significant portion of future earnings for Sean's site going to Cobra) was signed and would be binding even after Bryan's death.
Is it possible that Grant and/or Sean hired somebody to do this? Sure. Is there any evidence whatsoever that any of us in the GWW community have indicating this? No.
As such, reckless comments like "I'm guessing we probably know who did this" are irresponsible. There's enough drama in the situation already. Let's not feed the fire.
Sorry you thought my post was "snarky", whatever the hell that is, but if you read the next post I posted, you will see where Sean and his "friends" attorney is now saying that they were in fact there at Bryan's house that night.
They, Sean (Brent) and friend, are refusing to talk with the police until their attorney sets up a meeting and is present.
As for you comment about it being difficult to do the 2,000 miles simultaneously first it's actually about 2,800 miles, and that is easy to do in a 24 hour period. I've done it literally hundreds of times. Secondly, now that their attorney is stating that they were in Bryan's home THAT night, it's a moot point.
Now, explain to me, what the hell "snarky" is. I'm justa poor country boy and don't understand those big words.

My apologies, I mis-read the article in The Citizens Times. It actually reads:
"Sean Lockhart and Grant Roy, both of San Diego, have information about a man said to have met with 44-year-old Bryan Charles Kocis the night he was stabbed 28 times, said John Yates, a Los Angles-based attorney representing the men in a civil dispute involving Kocis."

If you're referring to this article that you posted
http://citizensvoice.com/site/news.c...d=455154&rfi=6
nowhere in it is it said or implied that they were at Bryan's house that night. It does say, as I referenced earlier, that they had *information* about someone who was to model with Bryan that night... but that information (as previously reported in another article) came from a phonecall Sean had with Bryan.
Now... if it does turn out that Grant and Sean were there the night of the murder, then that changes things considerably.
As I or anyone else with an ounce of sense would, regardless of innocence, if I were in their circumstances (which is exactly what I said in the previous message.)They, Sean (Brent) and friend, are refusing to talk with the police until their attorney sets up a meeting and is present.
Apparently you don't know what "simultaneously" means. Until the laws of physics change, it's not currently possible to be in two places at the same time.As for you comment about it being difficult to do the 2,000 miles simultaneously first it's actually about 2,800 miles, and that is easy to do in a 24 hour period.
"Snarky" doesn't have a perfect synonym, but the closest would be rudely sarcastic, disrespectful, or snide. I make a few snarky comments on GWW myselfNow, explain to me, what the hell "snarky" is. I'm justa poor country boy and don't understand those big words.
Not trying to be snotty or disrespectful to you here. I'm just saying... none of the parties on either side of the dispute are angels, there was a lot of nastiness exchanged during the suit, a man was brutally murdered days after, but indications are that the contentious lawsuit had been settled to the satisfaction of both parties. So before we rush into making accusations at people that were likely thousands of miles away and had nothing to do with the murder, let's wait and see what the police come up with.
