Who does that either on purpose or by accident?! Very suspicious to me.

A junkie thats who, he was in a hospital, he could have stolen either of those two substances, although to be fair i think it is more likely he stole the methodone and 'borrowed' his mothers anti-depressants or perhaps he was on methodone and took the anti-depressants.

Just speculation but that would be my guess as to what happened.

As was mentioned earlier in this thread, her life was like a train wreck, because of this it isnt to much of a stretch of the imagination to think her kids lives were also.

Come on.. I mean, get real here... can we quit thinking that just because they may have been 'crazy' people that they were just heroin addicts?

Even as (i will admit here) stupid that Anna Nicole was... when she was asked about going to rehap she said "I don't do drugs, I went there for pain pills"..she wasn't fucked up on heroin.. .she was a pain pill addict.. it was obvious from her show, and from her life...

I still, think the death looks way WAY suspicious... WAY... but other than that, her life was different from any other celebrity that you see.

They all enter rehab and leave.. they all do drugs (i don't care what they say)... She was just a person that let the public into her life, the good, and the bad, and that was her fault...

Still, it is really sad that she is gone, as it would be with any human gone, however it is a fact of life, and I am really happy about her being remembered and portrayed with the likes of Mairlyn Monroe and James Dean, it is everything she would have wanted, and even more, it is everything that she deserved.

There has not been a celebrity death other than Princess Diana that has brought more sadness than this in my lifetime. I don't think I would feel the sadness that I feel now, even if we lost Michael Jackson or Madonna.. some how, she was real to me, and she was one of us, and I just hope that everyone would see that point, and learn from it.

People that haven't been around heroin addicts may not realize just how close these two really are. Heroin (diacetylmorphine) is chemically very close to the narcotic found in Vicodin (hydrocodone) Oxycontin (Oxycodone) and morphine.

Most heroin addicts started out on pain pills, and a number of pain pill addicts occasionally use heroin (snorted) or morphine. But for whatever reason, the fact that it is coming out of a medicine jar and not a plastic package seems to make it much better in people's minds.

I don't know what she did or didn't do, but I do know, having had a fairly close friend who I watched, helplessly, spiral down that path, that "just pain pills" can be just as bad as a heroin addiction, and the addiction paths and experiences are often exactly the same.

If she had a pain pill problem, I really feel for her, because narcotic habits are *exceedingly* difficult to kick, and the relapse rate is typically 80% or higher.

Likewise, I'm appalled that 20 schools in the Pittsburgh area are going to be shut down because of budget cuts, but the city is considering financing a new hockey arena because the Pittsburgh Penguins are threatening to leave the city without a new place to play hockey. Anna Nicole is the epithomy of what is wrong with the U.S.. Most of the country has their priorities so fucked up they can't even see the decline of their own civilization.

Michael, I couldn't agree with you more. The weekend before I left Pittsburgh for LA I wanted to go to the Andy Warhol Museum one more time (it was one of my favorite places to go in Pittsburgh). I pulled in to the parking lot and the attendant asked if I was there for the Steeler's game. I told him no, and that I was there to go to the museum. He then refused to let me park, telling me that I could only park there for the game.

It's a sad state of affairs when you can't go to a museum because of a sports game. I was so glad to get the hell out of that city!

Anna was a mess. It's not just because of her blond hair and big boobs. Watch any ten minutes of her show where she slurs her words, burps and farts, babbles incoherently and picks her butt. Don't try to glamorize her because she's dead. The woman was a mess.

Having said that, I don't think of her as a gold digger or any of the other nasty things they say about her. If I was 90 years old and some hot stud gave me pleasure in my last few years and treated me with more love and respect than a money grubbing family that is on call waiting for my dying breath to get their hands on my money, you'd better believe he'd be getting my cash. Regardless or not if she really loved him, she obviously made him feel good and happy, so why should she not get his money? It would have been another story if she had wormed her way into his life and cut him off from his family, but he was lonely and she took care of him when they were nowhere to be found.

Yes, she was a mess and she allowed that part of her life to be shown to the media. But nobody knows what she was like in private. The loss of a child can be devastating. I feel bad for her, and her daughter. I don't think anybody deserves to die.

Well this is getting more and more interesting by the hour...

A load of prescription drugs were found in her room.. Non of them were hers, Valium and antbiotics.

A load of over-the-counter drugs were found in her room also.

Also, the 'nurse' that found her DIDNT call 911 right away, instead she called for one of Nicole Smith's bodyguards and Stern and the police are saying that this isnt 'normal' behavior.

As of right now im going to stick to my original assesment, she OD'd.

Well I think you are cherry picking. First of all, the United States spends more than 100% more on public schools today then when I graduated in 1987. I actually looked on Google about schools closing in Pittsburgh, but couldn't find anything. I know in Austin it has been absoultely impossible to close old elementary schools in the inner town where no kids live anymore. Rather then let kids go to school where they live, we spend a fortune busing students to nostaligic, old school building that sit on real estate which the city could sell for millions.

Perhaps you are upset that the residents of certain metropolitan cities refuse to hold their elected officials accountable. If this happens in Pittsburgh.... or a better example being New Orleans, then that's the way it will be.

I'm going to Pittsburgh in July by the way to the Fiestaware convention! It'll be an orgy of mid-century modern collectible antiques!

Make sure there's not a game on. Although since they leveled a perfectly good stadium to build three more, I would guess they made more parking structures down there. I'm surprised they didn't level the museums to provide more parking. Hell, why not get rid of those pesky libraries while we're at it.
