Thought so! I started out in Melbourne when I first moved here. Melbourne is great and a ton to do there socially. I'm a California guy so visiting the Gold Coast I knew it was the place for me, though they are a bit up themselves here. At least you have seasons in Melbourne, even if they are all in one day
