We launched a bareback niche feed for our leased content department and hit some snags, which is a BFD for me since I'm the one that was responsible for picking out those episodes. There were a couple (about four out of several hundred episodes I had to check) where I really dropped the ball (clearly wasn't bareback, put the wrong episode code, etc), but there were several that were total gray areas.

If it is a threesome, and only one of the participants is sporting a party-hat, is it still bareback? If the models start out having intercourse without a condom and only later put one on, is it considered bareback (surprised at how often that happened in the scenes)?

Input on this matter would be priceless.

if there is action where it shows bareback sex, then its a bareback scene. If there is a condom in the scene on the 3rd or appearing later, I would tend to cut those bits out or at the very least tell members within the description that this will happen.

I reworked the list (double checked everything) and resubmitted it to our programming department to remove the offenders. Still tripped out by those scenes that start bareback and then put a condom on after they'd already been having full-on intercourse.

The bareback crowd, from what I can tell, is really adamant about not seeing condoms AT ALL. I get the impression it's the equivalent of sticking two guys buttfucking in the middle of a straight guy-girl scene.

Also, I think a majority of people who are after gay content have NO interest in seeing a woman in the scene. If it's advertised as "bi", that's one thing, but if you're selling it as gay, it will be a big boner killer to a lot of guys (and I've seen some who actually shriek and turn their head away) to see a woman join the action.

The gay bareback market is very stern. If you call something bareback, your going to attract those who are into bareback. If there is even one condom, condom wrapper, or even a unused condom in the package... you'll lose those visitors, members, clients, and they may never even come back to your site as well as they'll cancel it in a heartbeat. If it's a feed your providing, your hurting your clients business.

It's kind of like a complete gay man who has to watch 2 lesbian's go at it.

I highly suggest studying the niche market before you jump into it and think.

Yes, sites that offer content in a specific niche must stick very closely to that content or the members will not be members long. They will go to a competing site that does stick to the format 100% of the time.

In the case of twinks, for instance, it is okay is the twink is getting fucked by a guy that is decidedly not a twink, but (as mentioned above) if it is a three-way and only one of the three participants dons a condom, then it is DQ'd on the spot. Interesting.

Wellll... you have to recognize that some of the crowd that hates condom porn are people who are living with HIV. They're watching porn to escape, and they don't want to be reminded of their situation. I've heard that commentary from several people.

However... I also think that the same thing can apply to the scenario you just described, for example, if you have a website marketed as "all twinks" or something like that, and you throw in a scene of two 20 year old guys and a 40 or 50 year old guy joins in, a lot of the members may get grossed out by that.

Likewise, you have a scene between two hot hairy guys in their 30s or 40s and stick some pale, skinny, hairless 18 year old twink in there, and I'm sure you'll get howls of disgust from at least some of the viewers.
