Spam Boards - Your Thoughts Please

We are currently in the process of updating our announcements site http://www.spamboards.com and wanted to get some feedback about it namely, what color scheme would you use for the site if it were yours?

Right now the colors that are on there are not appealing at all and in fact, the site was thrown up in a matter of days so hardly any thought went into the overall design / layout by myself.

I wanted to go for a more 'grafitti' type feel to is but am still unsure whether i should use color on it or, whether to use non chromatic colors.

Your thoughts on this?

red is a bit bright for me, and the black is hard to read on it... so maybe some softer colour would be easier..

I'd have to agree . . . I like feeling at ease so I only visit places that make me feel that way. Softer colours are safer. Again, that's just my 2 cents on top of Ians
