For the last few days ive been converting some DVD content to MPEG and splitting them in to scenes now the time has come to reduce the file size of these suckers and im at a loss to find the best / quickest way of doing it.

Can anyone sugges a program or two that i should check in to in order to reduce the size of these files down.
