I just wondered how many of you folks actually kept a wad of cash in the house for emergencies etc?

Since a couple of years ago when we had to evacuate from the hurricanes, we've kept a stash of money in the house in case the ATM machines / CC lines go down again.

I just wondered if anyone else kept actual money in their home/office in case of an emergency?
