There actually is a story. I was in SF for the Folsom Street Fair. And I have a very good friend who's this big burly leather Daddy, who just happens to be a fan of Dame Edna. Now, the Dame is often seen on her show with a long stalk of Gladiolas that she waves around like a scepter. So as I was running around SF I saw this flower stand that had these huge Gladiolas and I immediately though of my friend. So I thought it would be really funny to give them to him and make this big leather Daddy have to walk around the Folsom Street Fair with these ridiculous flowers. Well, the joke backfired because not only did he order me to take them to his hotel room, thereby nullifying my joke, but as I was coming up out of the subway station my best friend snapped this pic of me.

But, it still remains my favorite pic.
