A court in the booming Chinese city of Shanghai has jailed two men for up to 15 years for selling pornographic books, magazines and playing cards, a state newspaper said.

The two were jailed for 15 years and 11 years and given fines totalling 150,000 yuan ($20,320), the official Guangming Daily said.

Police seized more than 10,000 "obscene" books and magazines as well as 230 sets of playing cards, the report added.

The two were also found guilty of selling pirated books, it said.

Pornography is illegal in China, though widely available on cheap DVDs on street corners throughout the country.

You know, i must admit, when it is blatently obvious how long these people get in jail for selling porn, it astounds me that people still do it.

Im sorry but if i lived in China i certainly wouldnt be selling porn for a living.
