i didn't read nick's post as i have him on my ignore list. that being said, i feel fairly certain that i am the female person of which he speaks.

nick's version of reality is very different from real reality. he has said to several people that i am such a bummer that i brought down and ruined the webmaster dinner he attended. it appears that nick is unaware that i am the person who has set up nearly all the webmaster lunches in l.a., and if people couldn't stand to be around me, they wouldn't have been at the one he attended since they would have already known what a bummer i was.

most people considered it the most successful l.a. webmaster event up to that time, judging by the large number of people who wanted to do it again and the huge amount of positive feedback around afterward from virtually everyone but nick and the epoch people, who i don't know well. i've had dinner or lunch with a bunch of the people who were there afterward, so while i was offended at nick's rudeness in talking about me, i wasn't particularly concerned.
