Every time i have started to do a major encoding project over the past 3 months it has started to rain heavily and we've had thunderstorm warnings, i started an encoding project about 6 hours ago, had 20 minutes on it left to run and the power just went out thanks to a storm we have right over us

Looks like im gonna be buying a 3rd laptop at the end of the month to use just for encoding, at least that way when the power goes out ill have an hour or two's worth of backup battery time to pause the project.
