Tsunami Relief Donations
Hey all. To say the least, the scope of the damage, death, injury and suffering as a result of the recent tsunamis is massive. Literally millions of people across a dozen nations, and every populated continent affected. Tens of thousands dead, hundreds of thousands and perhaps millions displaced and homeless, children orphaned, entire villages wiped out.
There isn't a single one of us who isn't infinitely blessed and prosperous when compared to most of the people living in the stricken areas. So any amount people as fortunate as ourselves can contribute makes a difference.
The following is a list of organizations and relief agencies taking donations to assist people living in the regions affected, as well as travelers who were caught up in it all. Though what has happened definitely has had a personal effect on my family as it seems some of my mother's cousins living and working in Phuket, Thailand are still missing and unaccounted for, simply seeing coverage of it all on the news and realizing just how grand the scope of tragedy here is brings it home for everyone. So if you're able to contribute to any of the following organizations and help in some way, no doubt many people will be extremely grateful.

CARE
Médecins Sans Frontières
Intl Fed. of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
Intl Medical Corps
