I probably don't watch enough variety of porn to know the exact state of its staleness. But I hear it often, so it must be true.

I did discover that over time I unknowingly reduced the variety of porn that I watched to specific niches that I knew would work for me. So as a result I watched less and less. To mix things up I've popped in either classic videos or some straight porn. Better yet, classic straight porn. Way back when Ron Jeremy was still in shape and Paul Baressi was the Tom Selleck of porn.

One thing I have also found, possibly in contrast to others, is that I can enjoy decent story-driven content (I stress decent)... which some classic porn does (gay or straight). Motivation behind the sex can make it a little more intense for me. It feel more real. Even much of today's "reality" porn is way too fake. Acting in the classic porn days wasn't great, but it's sure as heck better than today's pizza boy B-roll.

What's sad is that there is some porn I watch for the comedic factor. Like one guy "forcing" himself on another... all the guy does is grab the other's wrist and he goes falling onto the sofa in apparent overpowering submission. What a fucking GURL. Yeah, that's really hot.

So I guess the bottom line is that porn lacks reality. REAL real, not baitbus real. Real men, realistic situations, realistic acting (if necessary).
