As someone who writes descriptions of sex imagery all day, let me share some of my solutions to writer's block.
I try constantly to keep my writing and descriptions fresh. Using the same set of words endlessly makes for boring reading that translates to flat marketing. A simple suggestion is to run down to your favorite dirty magazine shop.
Now some of you may have never bothered to ever notice, but somewhere beyond the standard, slick photo magazines are some books and magazines that are all fiction... no photos. No, these will not be copies of the Reader's Digest, nor Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction magazine, however some of the stories in these books will have science fiction themes!
I suggest purchasing a few just to keep on hand for this kind of occasion - I often reach over to my stash to find new and interesting ways to describe the act of two people fucking. If you have a place in town that sells used adult magazines, you can grab some gay fiction magazines very cheap.
I have also discovered another great source of writing phraseology for our medium: cooking and culinary writing. Yes, richly described dining experiences often closely mirror descriptions of beautiful bodies and sex. Find food writers that are opinionated and discuss eating in places like three-star Michilin French restaurants - I'll bet Sunday's New York Times and LA Times run food columnists like these.... they really can provide some great content.
By the way, another little secret of mine that many people may not know - my gay porn movie review website has very few instances of the word "fuck."
I instruct my writers when writing about a movie to not use the word at all. It keeps you thinking of new ways to describe things, plus there is a small S.E.O. voice in the back of my head that tells me to just not feed the word to Google and Yahoo incessently.
It is not just about using some explicit words, it is about describing things in an erotic manner that sells.
