It is really disheartening to me to hear about things like this... and that's one of the reasons that I think that maintaining a professional distance from everyone we work with is important.
If the models are treated with respect and make the choice willingly to work in the industry, with guys they are attracted to, my experience has been that they will almost always come away from the experience with a positive feeling about themselves and the work they've done.
It's the situations like the one described in the article where my stomach just turns at the kids being manipulated and encouraged to do stuff they would otherwise never consider... and the part I have real difficulty with is that the guys doing this shit apparently have no concerns whatsoever with the effects their acts have on the kids... or perhaps they convince themselves that they are actually helping and encouraging the kids...
I really hope that a large number of arrests *do* come out of this... I just wish that our industry could somehow make it known that this sort of thing is not what 99.9% of the professionals in the industry want anything to do with.
