I do somewhat agree with not airing out one's dirty laundry, immediately.
However, if attempts have been made to rectify a problem, or 'issue', (let's say with a sponsor or web master) yet there is no resolve, I always believed the boards to be the perfect device for repairing matters, or at the very least saving others (your online friends) from similar drama.
If the entity you have a problem with refuses to deal with it, take it to the boards and make sure others know. Scratch me scratch you?

A side from 'leads', making contacts or 'networking', is the purpose of the board not to bring us together or create friendships? Do 'friends' warn one another of potential problems/threats? (If a person does not share information which can save me some heart ache, that person is not a friend, by any means!)
I look after my friends.
