I don't think Slade was saying all black men are ugly, just some of the ones they use in gay porn. And, for the record, I would have to agree with him. I've seen a lot of porn using black men where the guys are not pretty at all. But then I'm also of the mindset that a LOT of gay porn stars -- black, white, Asian, Latino, or whatever -- are not all that attractive. Mostly the twinks. Emaciated, scrawny boys who look like they haven't eaten in weeks. Nasty.

from a "content" perspective i don't get many requests for "black" photo/video or many "black" model applicants.
i find it interesting at times that some of my models are so "mixed" that even when they list their "racial-background" it isn't often what you "see" so hiring someone simply because they list white/black/asian/hispanic is incomplete data.

ACK! Really Slade, was all that necessary? In Patti's defense, I think she was merely posing the question, as opposed to accusing you of anything outright.

I do, however, see a trend among some folks in the adult industry. What's with all the self-righteous sermonizing? People are so quick to jump on their high horses about everything from barebacking to erotic fiction depicting children having sex to, well, whatever they can find out there to sermonize about. A lot of the time, it really smacks of judgmental hypocrisy. Isn't there a way for people to express their opinions about things without all the jabs at those who don't agree with them? I tend to think that if anyone should be promoting the right of others to share their opinions (no matter how different than ours), it's those of us in the adult business. But maybe that's the inherent problem in this business. Are people just sitting around waiting for someone to do or say something we disagree with so that we can climb on top of the horse and condemn them as a way of taking the focus off on our own "sins"? Is this our way of saying "Well, I might be in adult, but at least I'm not doing THAT"???

Let's try to stop with all the name-calling and the finger-pointing. We're all in the same business. We're ALL dirty perverts. Oh come on! Here is the truth..just TODAY a friend and I were out going through a thrift store (yeah..even webmasters go to thrift stores) and my friend showed me these 3 ties he found. He said "Hey look..only a quarter each!" And I said (TRUE), "Yeah..but they is ugly!"


"They is ugly" happens to be part of my vocabulary when I want someone to know I REALLY find something ugly.

Now I suppose you're going to tell me I have it in for ties now!
