When Did Restaurants Stop Taking Reservations?

too many people ditching on the reservations.

I worked the industry so I believe any restaurant that takes reservations should acquire the persons credit card number that way if/when the 'party' does not show, a fine or fee is applied.

I used to love love love Red Lobster. That was until I had Gladstone's for the first time and had fresh fish right on the beach. Mmmm. I still go there when my sister comes into town. She loves the big red arches, LOL! I can't say I hate it but it is pretty bland compared to... well, um... everywhere else.

I can't remember the last time I went out to eat without making reservations. Everywhere I go to out here, I make reservations at. And they happily accept them.

Now... as for Red Lobster... I have different reservations about that place.
