Well, if you let the "hype" affect how you view the movie, of course you'll be disappointed. If you take it on its own merits, I think it's a rather beautiful movie, regardless of what the press (or any of us here) are saying about it. Always best to judge a movie on its own merits, and not let things like "hype" define your reaction.
