I'd say that a URL with "Gay" in it would be fine. As would guy.

but when you get to the just plain weird URLs that make no sense or are kinda insulting..it's best to check with us..

the two that come to mind are "Gag-a-gays.com" and "Find-a-flamer.com"

One was.. I think Asian kids gagging on cocks and the other was a dating site.

I must admit I'm amused by "Find-a-Flamer.com." If I were into flaming guys, I might even join. Hey, how about "Pick-a-Poofter.com"

I always wanted to get tweakingtwinks.com but i thought that would be redundant like gaytwinks.com.

Sad but frequently true, particularly the nearer you are to major cities.

Oh, now that's just mean. LOL! But I still love ya.

I think the guysgocrazy works better because it's better to turn away someone that is outside of your target audience than turn away someone who is in your target audience. If a straight guy thinks, for some odd reason, he will see a bunch of guys bangin' chicks on guysgocrazy, then his leaving will not really be a loss, and who knows, if he's attracted to the idea of a site focused on guys bangin' chicks, he might stick around to watch guys banging guys. There are a lot of gay curious men who would never ever click on a site that had "gay" in the titles, but call it something else and they'll be more likely to check it out.

it's been said better above but i know that as a general rule sites with 'gays' (as opposed to 'gay') in the domain name or used in the text are

    a) run by clueless straight webmasters and/or
    b) European webmasters - gay and straight - whose grasp of the subtleties of the English language is lacking

    so definitely go with 'guys'....

and those pics are hot! they look like they're having a lot of fun!
