Icq - Wtf?

Stupid god damn thing.

I can see people have sent me messages overnight but, when i go to read them the msg window wont open and i cant reply to them or see their msg in the ICQ history :crybaby:

This happening for anyone else today?

Looks like im going to have to switch from ICQ to trellian

This is fucking stupid.. if something doesnt need fixing.. dont fix it. Every time ICQ upgrades or changes something it takes a week or more to get the damn thing working again.

Good question, but if you are using icq2003b get rid of it. That version is horrible. If you are, uninstall that and reinstall icq2003a. My OS is XP, but I went ahead and installed icq2003a for Windows98 and it works great.

i used 2003b for ages with no problems, but when i moved to this computer, i got trillian and it does great for me.

one of the guys that's been working for me has had trouble for the past couple of months with icq going down like every couple of minutes...anyway I talked him into switching to trillian today and it hasn't gone down yet.

I was just thinking about switching back from Trillian (which has been giving me headaches lately) to ICQ... great, so ICQ is still screwed. *sigh*
