Does anyone know if there is a site that shows you the most popular search terms and ranks them by the amount of results showing in the SERPs?

Hi Lee,
http://inventory.overture.com
http://www.wordtracker.com/
are the ones which come to my mind..
DEV.
Dont those 2 just tell you how popular a search term is or do they show you how many pages are listed in the SE's for a specific term also?
Regards,
Lee

Not sure what search terms to bid on?
# Enter a term related to your site and we will show you: Related searches that include your term
# How many times that term was searched on last month

sorry to just cut and paste I am on the way leaving the house
Wordtracker I never used
DEVELISH
Overture/Yahoo! Search Marketing doesn't. Wordtracker I haven't used in ages.
I don't think I've ever come across a tool that will do both items that you're looking for Lee. Or maybe my mind is just hazy...:coffee:
Oh,
you can ask the US-Feds for the information - they just got millions of search results from the search engines ;D
DEV...
Overture and Wordtracker show you how many times the word has been searched for, if you want to know how many pages there are in G for that term, simply search it, and it'll bring up the number... but don't know of any tool that combines both. You might get that info though in a stats program like Google Analytics but I rather doubt it.
Course if you are asking what your position is in the serps for those keywords, then get an API from Google and use a queery to see where you rank.

Wordtracker gives some of that information, here's a paste for the term "big cock"
No. Keyword
KEI Analysis (?) Count (?) 24Hrs (?) Competing (?)
1 "lexington steele big cock fuck" 840.500 41 25 2
2 "teens getting their tight pussies fucked hard by big cocks" 89.043 91 55 93
3 "big cocks giving anal" 47.059 40 24 34
4 "her first big cock isabella" 25.289 62 38 152
5 "her first big cock" 8.093 3378 2053 1410000
6 "Women Fucking Big Cocks" 6.315 1121 681 199000
7 "big cocks" 6.200 6185 3760 6170000
8 "big cock" 4.177 6870 4176 11300000
so the last number is each row is supposed to be the number of pages competing for that term.
But I even find that Wordtracker leaves a lot to be desired. I went after a keyword that WT said should bring in about 329 visitors a day. Nope. Nowhere close and I have the number one ranking in Google for the phrase.
I like Wordtracker the best, but take it with a grain of salt.
Michael
Dayum, those WT figures are way off
So we've decided nothing like that exists that is reliable, interesting

Think of it like this:
what you want is search-engine inside information... only them can cater it to you.... I am wondering how WT can tell how many people search for a specific term...
DEV...
WT uses data from dogpile
Are they buying it or what? No, really, I'm curious
dunno, my guess is a cut of revenue for the data
ah, guess i found it
