I remember when they used to call pot Mary Jane. LOL! I smoked pot in college and did acid once, and it wasn't any major moral standing that kept me from doing more, I just didn't like the way that they made me feel. But one movie that will really show you what long term drug use will do to you is Ciao Manhattan. The movie is based on the life of Edie Sedgwick, starring her playing herself. Half the movie was made in the late 60's and was supposed to be an underground film but was never finished, so in the eaerly 70's they filmed new footage with Edie with the idea of using the old footage as flashbacks about her life. The really sad thing is that she was too fucked up in real life to realize the movie was about her. She stumbles and falls all through the movie and barely gets her lines out, and you think she's a great actress but she isn't, she's just really messed up from the years of heavy drug use and drinking. So it's a combination of reinactment and documentary. It's really tragic.
