Actually, I had the pleasure of hearing Dan Millman speak at a book signing last year and when he announced to the crowd that Nick Nolte would be playing the part of Socrates, a character that all of his fans have loved and admired over the years, there was a collective gasp from the audience, to which Millman replied something like "I know, but I've seen the rough cut and he's really good."
