I found my current DR through referral and only afterwards did I realize that his practice advertised in the local gay magazines. You could try your local rags as well.

Having a gay Dr. has been very good and I feel very comfortable with him. When I had my first physical with him we had a long talk about various STD's, methods of reducing risk of transmission, and spotting symptoms in sex partners [easier to avoid an STD than treat one].
I don't think I would have been as comfortable discussing my sexual activities with a straight doc. Luckily I am not old enough to need the DRE yet. He may be gay and he may be smart but I still refuse to pay to have someone ram a finger up my ass.

Go through the ads in Frontiers and pick the cutest doctor with his shirt off. Or pick the one that's having a 10% Off Sale on lipo. That IS how LA queens pick a doctor, lawyer, plumber or locksmith, right?

I always get a kick out those those tacky ads for professional services in Frontiers! I even saw an ex-porn star advertising his services as a funeral director with a naked body in the ad!

Tony Mills is suppose to be a good doctor. He's a hot leather daddy who's got his butt parked on a bike in some of his photos. I know some people who see him and they all seem to like him. He's on Sunset in WeHo on the border of BH.

We like the UCLA system. And depending upon what ails you, they've got somebody for everything imaginable and more!

I had to give up my hot leather Daddy doctor, but since my awesome boss takes care of our health care plan I'm not complaining one bit. But I would really prefer a gay doctor as well.

Thanks Ken, You're awesome! I don't really care if the doctor is gay or not, but more concerned with them being okay with me being gay. I had a doctor once in Pittsburgh who was really nice and friendly towards me, then one day he casually asked if I had a girlfriend. I replied that I didn't and that I didn't have a boyfriend either. He took on this nervous laugh that carried on through the rest of the appointment. Then the next time I went back to see him, which wasn't a very long time later, I was told that he no longer worked there. It may have been a coincidence but since he didn't mention it nor was I contacted, it left a bad taste in my mouth.
