Chad- Please give everyone an estimate of the "retainer" fees both those attorneys would want up front before they would even take the case.

An obscenity case if going to cost at minimum $50,000 to initially defend, and if it goes to trial it's going to cost $200,000+. I know that first ammendment lawyers like Sirkin are going to want $50,000 retainer just to take the case!

As with most legal cases, it's not about whose right, it's about who has the most money to fight the battle. Sad, but true.
